The HSC is the US based youth wing of the RSS (Hindu supremacist movement), an organization implicated in scores of violent pogroms against Muslim and CHristian minorities in India. It is a shame that journalists reporting on these events don't even conduct elementary research into such fanatical organizations purporting to speak for Hindus by doing something innocuous like meditating or praying, and saying wondrous things that nobody could disagree with, such as learning tradition, promoting understanding, etc.
