Having recently had a hip replaced at Ravenscourt Park hospital, and having enjoyed the kind of care and concern that should be universal in NHS hospitals I am appalled to hear of the closure of this hospital. I simply do not believe that sufficient patients cannot be found for the hospital. They would be found if there was joined up thinking in NHS hospitals nation wide. If we can ship patients to France to cut waiting lists, we can do it within the UK. The failure is entirely down to unimaginative administration.

I too am appalled at the decision to close Ravenscourt Park Hospital, I recently had my right knee joint replaced as an NHS patient, and the care I received was superb ,the cleanliness was top class, as was the food . The approach of all staff was beyond reproach and all seemed very happy working there ! I was happy to have been paying for this top class service for the last fifty years !
