Brinda Karat has a rival pharmacy. She envious of the popularity of Swami Ramdev. Karat, a communist, is unable to show her patiotrism to India, instead running down the efforts of someone who is. Karat is a profoundly sad person. What has she done in her life that can be compared to the selfless efforts of Swami Ramdev. In my view the bottom line is 'If it does good, what difference does it make if a product contains compounds from animal or human'. Does Karat argue against meat eating then? This is popular, even among Hindus (except beef). Karat's alligations are based on personal envy and prompting from the multinationals.

"If it does good, what difference does it make if a product contains compounds from animal or human" It make a mountainous difference: Do you know that Aayurvedic medicines are excepted from going through a lengthy and costly testing cycle. Allopathic medicine by law require to go through this cycles and then print content on the pack, Ayurvedic medicines do not require that. The argument Ayurvedic promoters put forward is that it is basically natural content of plant, which automatically void if it contains animal or human body content, and thus abuse the liberties granted by the law. As for the meat, it is considered food not medicine. Packed foods, regardless it has meat or not, requires putting content on the pack if it is intended for distribution 3 days [or more] after the packing is done, Baba's medicines doesn't. Wakeup! not everyone who wears saffron is a saint. Baba is a businessman promoting himself as a saint, to make money and Yoga is his best marketing tactic.
