OMG!! you mean this also becomes a world record. I have removed huge kidneys of similar sizes and similar conditions but never weighed them and I am sure like me many others too have removed huge kidneys. I once removed a stone from the bladder that weighed more than a Kilogram but as surgeons we don't tend to report these because it is no novelty as a procedure. This kind of news I think is cheap publicity for hospitals and doctors.
