I think compulsory memory tests are an absolute insult to the elderly and just a way of pushing more drugs. Dont doctors realise that it is natural to become a bit forgetful in old age?. It is inevitable, just like having to wear glasses or not being able to walk as far. Having to do a test makes some people nervous and they become more forgetful, or maybe the person hasn,t slept well and then fails the test. Giving too many pills to the elderly can actually cause confusion and shorten their life expectancy
