I am in need of a revision hip replacement [second time]I can still walk around but pain does not let me walk for more than 5 minutes. I am 78 years old and have had my hip replacement for 15 years. About 2 years ago I had a femur fracture on the same side where I am having the problem now but have not had any problem with hip until now. Don't know if the fracture is the cause of problem now. I read where there is a new method of doing a revision where they do not have to split bones to get old cement out. How new is this proceedure can I find a doctor in Lafayette, La that performs it? Or anywhere in Louisiana?
