Very interesting. I'm an artist who teaches design fundamentals to patchwork quilters. We deal with practical math every day, but theoretical math, working with the numbers only without visual imagery, is mind-blocking. I find it also interesting that although this study looks at ways to resolve math anxiety, it seems not to deal with the causes of it . . .
