Asthma Risk in Kids Increases If Mothers Smoke During Pregnancy

The risk of asthma goes up several times among children whose mothers smoked during pregnancy.

The prenatal exposure was found to be connected with daily and night-time asthma symptoms in kids. This exposure in the prenatal stage also caused many asthma-associated emergency room visits.
