While the term "neurobehavioral processes" seems to be new, behavioral psychology long ago described what this article claims to be a new view, or understanding, of what underlies eating behavior. It's not new. That said, it is true that many weight control programs, and professionals, have largely ignored these important behavioral psychology concepts.
