I appreciate Chief Minister Ms. Jayalalitha's recent announcement about the Insurance Scheme. I wish she should give the insurance business to any of the Four Public Sector GI Cos. Viz. National, New India, Oriental and United India and not to any Private Insurance Companies.

It is a great boon to the BPL families. I also strongly recommend the business to public sector Insurance company.but the TPA should be strong enough to handle the business effecitively.TPA should encourage the family to take the treatment from govt.hospitals. they should also have fixed package on the case basis.they should have slab for package.eg.first 300 cases a package rate and thereafter 5% deduction for every slab] TPA should have exp in handling mass policy in TN, so that they are aware of rural markets also. a great insurance scheme should go to the right company with service mind and dedication
