The report was not authored by the Pontifical Academy itself; rather, the Vatican convened a group of scientists with relevant experience, along with a few Nobel Prize winners, celebrated for nothing other than promoting Anthropogenic Climate Change itself. These appear to be pretty much the same bunch of experts that so damaged the UN's IPCC committee with its less than rigorous scientific practises, that amounted to little more than journalism and political advocacy. The Vatican seems to feel the need to align itself with other so named Academies of Science, in succumbing to the unproven premise of overwhelming Anthropogenic cause. It's not the 1st.
