I think that the work that Irene and others like her is extremely valuable. I have come across an insole product called Barefoot Science which works on the same propriocpetive concepts that running barefoot does. The introduction of this insole into any exoisting footwear should then make that shoe healthier as well as by strengthneing the foot's muscles, it should make the transition to barefoot running,a nd thus the benefits of barefoot runner be acheivabale faster and safer. With all of the running and barefoot blogs out there I have seen little about this intereating product. On the surface it seems to make perfect sense and be a perfectly logical alternative to the decades old products that only bracea or cushion your foot
