Ours is a registered, voluntary, non-governmental organization promoted by women and for the betterment of women in 2002. Our mission is to promote the socially marginalized and less-fortunate women with the vision of working for their empowerment. We are operating from Madurai city and Madurai rural district in Tamil Nadu, South India .

Our target –groups are Dalit women in particular and deprived, neglected women in general, children, youth, working women, the aged and the disabled.
In a major way, we are promoting social education on the prevention and control of AIDS with special intervention with commercial sex workers and other high risk groups.

Sir, I am a law graduate. I am 27years old. my father died owing to diabetes. He had diabetes for more than 19 year and being a police officer and due to hardship of his job he neglected his health. He died in 2004 owing to heartattack. He wanted that peoople must know about diabetes especially uneducated people. I prepared a small projected where I illustrated the story of my dad's diabetes besides the consequences from this disease and the prevention to take. Initially, I am start this project in the form of cd to my relatives and want to propageto others. My aim is to bring an awarenss of diabetes. I am also gathering information from American Diabetes Association through enewsletters via Dr. Julia Hanf.
