A child is legally a minor till 18 and is under parental care. This implies that parents have the jurisdiction to do what they think best for the child. How can one deny circumcision when there is overwhelming evidence that it reduces the spread of several sexually transmitted diseases including HIV? If I did that as a parent, and if my child got HIV in adult life, I would feel I failed my son. Law is an ass-it yawns, Religion is a mule carrying voluminous loads and humans are the moronic prisoners of the past- the so-called "cultures." Let's wake up to the future and save our children's lives-they'll thank the parents when they become and live like adults.
