okay well here are some questions that i would like you to answer.
1. What did you first think when you heard about Chikungunya?

2. How many patients have you treated with Chikungunya?

3. Are the symptoms for Chikungunya similar to the Dengue fever?

4. Is there a cure for Chikungunya?

5. Is Chikungunya common where you live? if so, where?

6.Have you ever been infected by this disease?

7. What can people do to prevent infection of this disease?

8. Do any of your patients know how the came in contact of this disease?

1. when i first heard about chikungunya i didnt know what to think. I've never heard of such thing before so i was scared.

2.I have treated 3 people.

3. yes, they are very similar that the only way to tell one from another is through a blood test.

4. no. there isn't any cure for chikungunya. theres only medicine to reduce the pain caused by the disease.

5. no, i live in the U.S.

6. no i have not.

7. they can wear bug repellent and cover themselves very well with clothing.

8. no. they didnt know what cause it at first.i let them know that it was caused by a mosquito.
