this is first time i have seen that diabetes 1 leads to pancreatic cancer .so i want to know more about it.

For those with diabetes that find this alarming, keep in mind that pancreatic cancer is uncommon. Since there is an increased risk, however, look for other ways in which you can lower your risk. Avoid excessive alcohol. Red meat that is very well-done, burned or charred raises the risk of pancreatic cancer. Cut down on red meat, and when grilling, marinate meat for 40 minutes first. This greatly decreases the production of heterocyclic amines (carcinogens) produced in the grilling process.
