12-16 weeks of trastuzumab achieves a high microscopic remission in patients with breast cancer treated preoperatively-(San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2004, and a phase II study reported in San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2005). The results of FinHer study are not surprising as the unprescedented high microscopic remission in the preoperative setting is a surrogate of improved survival.
