Thank you very much for focusing on such an important issue, and congratulations to Dr Vivek Khemka. While I agree totally with what is presented here, just in case the title misleads any one, I must add that palliative care is not only about end-of-life care. All principles of palliative care must go hand-in-hand with disease-specific treatment whether or not a cure is possible. M.R.Rajagopal MD
