This problem is not there in the rural settings or in houses with a backyard. Only parents living in urban apartments fail to expose their children adequate to the sunrays. With a little personal attention and care parents can remidy it and avoid the bad effects of non exposure without much expense.

I would like to make a correction here. It is not safe to expose babies to direct sunlight during 10 am to 3 pm. Sun rays during this time is too harsh and may scald the babies' skin. A good time to give your baby a sunbath is before 10 am and after 4 pm, when the rays are mild

Why little one alone ? Exposure to the Sun is necessary for all of us irrespective of one's age.How lucky are those who are staying in a country where you get exposure to the son all the 365 days of the year!Take advantage of the situation and get all the health benefits free of cost round the year. This has to be taught to all the children in the school so that the future generation of the country is sound in health, both physical and mental.Let the government publicise this fact thru all the media for the benifit of all the citizens of our nation.
