"Myself is Nisha Roy, Secretary of BNP+ and an out reach worker of KNP+ was
getting ARD free of cost from Dr. Jack Preger of ‘Calcutta Resque’ till last
July 2005. For collection of ARD I went to meet Dr. Jack Preger in his
residence at 6, Hochimin sarani, Kolkata, on 13/08/05 with Karuna Sasmal and
other social workers of our organization.

Dr. Preger got angry upon me when I met him, he told me with very loud voice
that, “you would not get any medicine from here, you may go now on that way
(showing the gate-way of his residence).”

After then Dr. Preger entered in his room with the members of our organization
for giving them the ARD, I was still standing out of his room and felling myself
very insulted for his behaviour, after waiting few minutes I entered in his room
and asked Dr. Preger that, “ Dr Jack can you please tell me that why you would
not give me ARD further?” she is a HIV positive woman who is depended( Free ARD)on him, how a
responsible(?) Doctor could physically assaulted to his patient.

It was not only a physically assaulting also a mentally harassment too.

We would like to see proper action is taken against this Dr.
