I am so thankful for my God, my Doctor, and Bristol-Myers Suibb. I had advanced Melanoma in my lungs. My Doctor at Duke Brent Hanks MD, PHD, suggested that this new drug 'IPI" would be the one to use in treatment. It worked, it reduced the tumors to almost nothing. I go back this Friday, for my 3 month follow up visit, to make sure all is still in remission. Dr Hanks made a statement that in essence said, if was if I had never had this disease, and my chance of getting again, is equal to anyone else getting it.
