chest pains

I hope im doing this right..have had off and on little sharp pains in chest area..kinda like left upper side..in breast area..have been doctoring for high blood pressure..am taling meds for thyroid(low) for a long time..blood pressure problems are new to me.. i am female 77 yrs ..145lbs..5'1..any advice have been quite healthy all my life..no surgery..I can be reached at lizzy0729@msn.com

Good Day

I thought I will share something of my chest pain which would help.I feel my chest is very painful when I cough. I have consulted a doctor and he said my cough was a normal one. However I do not think my cough is normal and the doctor has asked me to have plenty of water. Can this really help my chest pain?
