Performing surgeries makes doctors and hospitals rich in the corporate and private sector. minil 21 Apr 11 10:04 PM I see this happen in developed countries as well, mainly laparoscopic removal of gall bladder. Most patients come back with complications and are then re-operated, this time they go for the surgery with another diagnosis and indication.With increasing competition, this seems to be the norm almost everywhere.
