Extremely promiscuous behavior and extreme and inappropriate anger/rage suggests a manic illness rather than a schizophrenic illness. Emotional lability, and lack of understanding and/or awareness of the illness are indicators that she is unwell.
Family's intervention should be consistent requests to see a psychiatrist and/or to take medicine prescribed by a psychiatrist. This should include everyone - relatives, friends, and even acquaintances making the same request. You can say things like, "you look stressed and discussion with a psychiatrist will help". If this does not work, then you may meet a Psychiatrist and explain the problem and perhaps try a liquid or mouth dissolving medicine. These can be given to patients who are in the opinion of the family and the Psychiatrist, both unwell and refusing medicines.
