i am askin this for a friend......what could be the cause for sudden ( within seconds) painless loss of vision in a single eye (right) in a 27yr old primigravida? now she is 5 months pregnant . she has earlier had no similar episodes. She doesnt have any significant medical history...nothing whatsoever, except a Deviated nasal septum for which she hasnt got operated yet though she has slight breathing difficulties when supine..kindly reply

It could be due to two conditions. 1)pregnancy induced CSR 2)pregnancy induced hypertension She needs to consult an ophthalmologist.
