I need to know a few more facts regarding your back pain to comment on it.
1.Is there any history of injury that precipitated this pain.
2.Does the pain increase on bending down.
3. Where any blood tests done or any X-rays taken for the same, if so what were the results.
4.Is there any past history of tuberculosis?
The pain you are suffering from could be due to a prolapsed disc, or it could be due to some inflammatory conditions like ankylosing spondilitis or it could be due to an infective pathology like tuberculosis. You need to be investigated to determine the cause. Temporary relief can be gained by the use of pain killers but for permanent relief the cause has to be dealt with. If you are planning to take pain killers please take them after food or combined with an antacid to prevent gastritis.
