Dear Shobi,
For a working person it is very important to have a good breakfast like upma or egg-white or some cereal(oats/wheatflakes) and milk alongwith some fruit. You must carry your lunch. You can have salad.curd veggies and chappatis. Also carry some fruits and roasted snacks for inbetween snacking. For dinner have some soup and salad with fish/chicken or sprouts/dal/soya nuggets. Your metabolism depends on the frequency of eating and amount of exercise you do. So eat every 2-3 hrs. You can also try green tea in office if you are fond of tea/coffee. Have lots of water. Try getting up from your seat at short intervals. Try to start with some light exercises like walks.
