Dear Elizabe B.P not depend only on chart. B.P depends upon body type , living condition, underline disease if for one person this is normal for other it is low or high. Now your taking amlodipin to make bp low in your case , did you have any diagnostic test to know what is the reason. Now what you have to do is be accurate, buy a automatic B.P measuring instrument. Make a chart by measuring 4 time daily at same time for a week. now calculate your average bp and show this chart to any cardiologist to help him making diagnose. 1 amlodipine is ok but taking more according to your plan will sure hender your heart as u forcing your heart agains his knowing condition. take lemon tea, less salt intake. No tension, little cardiovascular exercise. This medicine has side effect like addiction, and low B.P in high and long dose. Consult your physician.
