hello, as far as i can gather from history is that seizure at 5 days die to low sugar many times dosent have a lasting effect in brain. it also depends on how low the sugar was. if he was ok till 1 month after that it is unlikely that it had a link to hypoglycemia (low sugar). The EEG if it is normal there is less likely of a seizure disorder. but in babies they have seizures with near normal EEG. the medicine given is for controlling seizures.but i dont think an infection in CT brain will be left untreated. Also there are only few chronic infections which has signs in imaging even after a long time. but it seems unlikle as u are telling me that your sons growth and development is normal. Also the small jerky movements during falling asleep exist in few children and even adults and is not a serious problem and mostly doesnot require treatment. do not worry about that.I suggest you consult a pediatric neurologist with your already taken CT and MRI and if it turns out normal , decisions about continuing or stopping gardenal can be taken. hope i answered your queries to your satisfication
