My cousin (17 years old) felt the pain of appendicitis and he was taken to the hospital although the pain was not that severe. Doctor diagnosed appendicitis and preferred an operation after 6 weeks. He was brought back home. Another doctor said that the inflammation is at initial stage and could be treated with medicines. My cousins's grandmother also got appendicitis and had more severe pain but the same doctor treated her with medicines and up till now, its been 12-13 years, she does not feel any kind of pain or complications. Same is the case with our another relative of the same family. CAN MEDICINES REALLY CURE IT IF IT IS IN STARTING STAGE??? PLEASE REPLY ME SOON. THANKYOU :) WAITING....

Hi. I was diagnosed Lung TB on November 5th. Beginning: I had fever, 38C temp., lot of blood in sputum, pain while cough, I was nervous, tired, lost weight, couldnt sleep. I were in hospital 2 months, and under full therapy - RF, INH, ETH, PZA - for 2,5 months. My symptoms dissapeard, I feel great, I am home now. Doc told me to come to control in April. But, this morning I had tiny spot of blood in my sputum, for the first time after this symptom dissapeard in November. Is it normal, or I should be concerned? Thanks

Dear Doctor,
Just now I transferred from Chennai to Mumbai, and i guess because of the sudden climate changes, small pimple type of something (not pimple exactly) is developed all over my forehead. i can only feel when place my hand there - no itching, no color change. bt am worried that if it may lead to some thing serious. along with that i m facing the problem of oiliness from last one year. this time face is producing oil every nxt minute after face washing, pl get me rid of this.
Also suggest me some diet chart if possible.

Hi. i was diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia about 3,5 years ago.
when i got the diagnosis i tried a lot of different medications(modiodal,ritalin,anti-depressive etc) after trying alot of different meds i found that a medication called dexedrine was the one that had best effect on me. been using that for 2 years now, but it just isnt good enough. its better that not taking it, but i still cant wake up every day.
to add, my problem is not daytime sleepiness, it's only that i sleep so extremely heavy, no alam or person can wake me sometimes.
i must have a person to actually slap me and shake me every morning to get up, if not there is no chance. but sometimes not even that can wake me.
needless to say this is ruining my entire life and i need more help.
my doctors say that there is nothing else they can tell me.

is there anything you can tell me ?
i am willing to try ANYTHING!

if you need more details let me know

Do birth control pills have the same effect during a woman's fertile week of the month when she is ovulating? Is there more of a chance of becoming pregnant if having sex during that week?
