Paediatric Laparoscopic Surgery / Key Hole Surgery

Pediatric laparoscopic or keyhole surgery applies modern laparoscopic techniques – in which major operations are performed through a tiny ‘key hole’ (about 1cm) opening in the body, minimizing injury to the body and speeding recovery – to children. Many operations on the abdomen, like surgery on the pancreas, liver, or bile duct, can be performed through laparoscopy.
