Glomerulonephritis

Glomerulonephritis is a kidney disease characterized by inflammation of the glomeruli – the small blood vessels in the kidney. A kidney biopsy is necessary to know the type of glomerulonephritis, and treatment will differ based on this.

Proteinuria before prenancy?

I had HELLP syndrome when I had my baby which left me with glomerulonephritis. My MD says that I have not had a kidney biopsy yet to distinguish what kind of kidney problem I have. My last 24 hour protein was .7g/day. I am getting checked up again in November to look at my levels. Has anyone had a baby or known anyone who has had a baby with HELLP syndrome? I am pretty healthy. No other problems. My weight is low, I have low bp, and have DM. I just want a cure for my kidneys so I can have more babies!!
