Come rains and every year we as diabetologists see an increase in the number of amputations in our patients. Feels so bad when the same patient whom you had managed to save last year from getting amputated come back this year with a gangrene.... n u r hepless. A simple advise from my side: Keep checking your feet daily if u r a diabetic. New monsoon foot wears usually leads to shoe bite n this small ulcer flares up n lead to a serious complication.. Be aware.
