In Canada the cost to the healthcare system will be higher than in India, but far lower than the rates prevailing in the United States.
Our national health-care system provides such tests at zero cost to the patient, and the cost is covered [like other public services] by the income taxes we pay.
Private health care in the United States is terribly expensive, since doctors, hospitals and insurance companies are all working "for profit". That's OK if your expensive insurance plan covers all the costs, but if you cannot afford it you are out of luck.
