My daughter-in-law says she suffers from Night Eating Syndorme. I find it rather funny to believe. Is there such a thing at all?

There is indeed a eating/sleep disorder known as Night Eating Syndrome. Here is a link to a research article that can probably give answer to your query.

Well for a change she is not faking at all. Yes it is very much possible. Night Eating Syndrome is a very common symptom. It is characterized by frequent night waking in which the patient is unable to fall back to sleep unless he/she eats something. It is mainly caused due to different circumstances, emotional difficulties, or maybe stress about dieting, strict self-imposed rules during the day or maybe an attempt to receive missing nutrients. Why don’t you check or even better, suggest your daughter-in-law to consult any of the doctors from www.mediangels.com
