cystitis

For those of you who have been diagnosed with cystitis, remember to drink plenty of water . Be sure to void urine frequently and empty the bladder completely at least once every three hours. After sexual intercourse voiding of urine helps flushing away any bacteria. You can also start practicing proper toilet hygiene.

Drinking water, urinating before and after sexual intercourse, avoiding potentially irritating feminine products are helpful self-care tips. But main cause of cystitis is bacterial infection and often prescription antibiotics are needed to clear up the infection.
