back pain

One of the common cause of back pain in young adults and the adolescents.especially males is ankylosing spondylitis. This condition is something which is acquired genetically. The treatment for this condition includes symptomatic medications like pain killers, anti-inflammatory drugs , physiotherapy and guided exercising of muscles.

Apart from treating symptomatic indication. the degeneration has to be stopped. Newer drug therapies( Methotrexate+sulfazaline+pamidronate)have successfully treated AS and the pain associated with it.
