Vitamin C / Ascorbic acid

Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is one of the essential micronutrients. This vitamin helps bones, muscles, and blood to form and damaged tissue to heal. It helps the body to absorb iron and is an antioxidant. Inadequate levels of this vitamin has been linked to gum disease and high blood pressure.
