Myotonic Dystrophy

The term muscular dystrophy is used to represent a group of muscle diseases characterized by muscle weakness and wasting of muscles. In need of support

I am new to this site and I hope there are still active members out there.I have not been diagnosed yet but I have an appointment with a specialist next month.I have had a positive emg and positive muscle biopsy but my current nuero doesn't know what to check for as all my bloodwork was basically normal.I have all the symptoms of myotonic dystrophy but he said














I am new to this group and I hope there are still active members who can help !! Is it possible to have a band sensation around upper body with myotonic dystrophy.
