Are you going for a cystoscopy procedure? Don’t worry.. I just underwent the procedure and it was not as painful as I thought. Local anaesthesia was used and I felt the urge to urinate just when they inserted the instrument. Although the doctors told me to relax by taking deep breaths ,I felt the need to urinate throughout the procedure but there was no pain.
