Health Insurance in the US I think leaves a lot to be desired. For one thing not everyone is covered. I think 33% people have no health insurance or do not have adequate coverage. The govt. does not wish to take the responsibility as it would mean a huge committment. Health and education should be two fundamental rights of a citizen in any country in today's age. There is no escuse. US planning commission needs to think seriously of re-alloting some of the defence expenditure towards healthcare. Stop attacking countries like Iraq and now probably Iran and take care of your own masses. After there is no excuse to spend so much on defence, now that the cold war is over.
