     If you experience any serious side effects stop to take allopurinol and contact your consultant.


       side effects may be:


        Inflammation in liver.


        Inflammation of bllod vessels.


        Allupurinol hypersensitivity syndrome.

Some common and uncommon side effects of allopurinol are as follows:


Hypersensitivity reactions, maculopapular rash, urticaria, myalgia, malaise, fever, transient leucopenia or leucocytosis, hepatic damage, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, drowsiness.
