One of the first signs of glaucoma is loss of peripheral vision. People with diabetes and high blood pressure should check their eyes regularly for vision loss from glaucoma.

If glaucoma is not treated the eye would go blind and often become painful as well.

Regular yoga can be done except for exercises involving the head being lower than the body for an appreciable time as it tends to increase intraocular pressure.

If you are being treated for glaucoma, be sure to take your glaucoma medicine every day and see your eye care professional regularly.
