The hair dye allergy issue can be resolved by manufactures including polyethylene caps with the gloves they include. Caps blend with complete overage,softer results,less mess, without skin reaction.

Hair dye manufactures include gloves
but not caps which give 100% blend into
roots and coverage. This would solve the
safety issue, keeping dye off the scalp.
