My daughter had eczema for many years and after trying lots of things, she is eczema free. To stop the itching and pain check out a company here in Boulder, CO called www.peacefulmountain.com. They have wonderful herbal creams and gels for issues like eczema.
First off, stop using any of the common laundry detergents. They are petrochemical based and bad for the skin! Next, limit the number of showers you take a week, seriously this was the biggest thing to reduce the eczema breakouts. Normal tap water has chlorine and the body does not like chlorine. You are also going to need to get rid of the toxins in your house and environment. Throw out your current household cleaners and get all natural ones, try your local health store or go on-line and order them. Again these cleansers are petrochemical based and bad for the body and skin. Lastly, drink lots of water, eat healthy organic fresh fruits, vegetables and meats, and get out and exercise daily.
