I think there is no need to get panicked on the reservation issue by either the people who support it or who don't.
The main thing to explain is that even reservation is not a panacea of all the problems but in a country like India which has a high corruption record, no policy other than reservatin can work. But it should be tried to implement this policy in as just manner as we can. For this the castes which have unnessasarily included in the obc list should be excluded and the creamy layer should be targeted in a strict manner.
One more thing that must be done is that there should be an annual fixation on the percentage of quota to be introduced and total no of seats aquired by the obc's through open competetion should be excluded from the no. of reserved seats and those should be given the general category students on the basis of their merit so that the obc's don't have more than 27% reservation by two ways.

The sincerity of politician in upliftment of downtrodden is questionable as evident from the field observation. They are only concerned about vote bank and reservation gives them votes of downtrodden in mass. They talk of creamy layer but the sons & daughters of rich generally get the benefit of quotas. Unfortunate Indians to get an unfortunate constitutional clause – the reservation policy.
