Your comments, and comments similar elsewhere, seriously concern me. If you do your research you will find that there is NO known cause for SIDS, as there is no known CURE or PREVENTION. 'Your' recomendations in some cases are what is considered to be 'good child care' practice. Focus attention on furthering RESEARCH on the BABY not the parents and what they are doing or are not doing. Research such as brain stem, long and short q (heart)and expanding newborn screening for metabolic disorders. I'm a SIDS Mom of 33 years and have followed this issue with personal interest, if your suggestions stopped or reduced SIDS many parents I know would have their babies today.
