Per Dr. Erin Neptune's work, why don't they put hepatocyte growth factor in an inhaler to treat COPD. I gather hepatocyte growth factor has already been approved for use in humans. I would like to try a therapy of hepatocyte growth factor, Ibuprofen [per university of Nebraska's copd/ibuprofen trials] and nicotine patches to promote the growth of new blood vessels. If the hepatocyte growth factor was somehow put in the O2 stream or an inhaler would it be absorbed by the lungs?
