I have narcolepsy without cataplexy. I was diagnosed at 28 years old. I am also alergic to every sort of bee/hornet/wasp minus the honey bee. In 1993 at age 9 I was hospitalized for bee stings, 50 stings from an unknown family of wasps. At that time I was not allergic to bee stings. Based on the sheer volume of stings I was treated with an anti-histamine and steroids. I was not stung by another bee for over 15 years. I got stung by a wasp in 2008 and within 10 seconds I had double vision, extreme dizziness, and my entire body was starting to swell while a rash covered me from head to toe. I arrived to an emergency room within 15 minutes and while taking my vitals they caught me going into anaphalactic[spelling] shock.

Now, to the questions.

-Having narcolepsy w/o cataplexy would I have the same 65% extra histamine?
-If I would have the extra histamine wouldn't alergic reactions be less life threatening?
