I'm male and have suffered migraines since childhood. Bad migraines, but less than 3 or 4 per month. Hormones are involved, or lack of. I report this because when I started on food supplements that supported all types of hormonal balancing, the migraines at first weakened, then almost disappeared. When I get a 'migraine' now it is very weak, but I know exactly what it is. Just a quarter pill of imitrex knocks it out within 15 minutes. Also, I suspect that amount of body fat is a problem. Not percentage, as I'm always low, like 10%. But I suspect that carrying MORE muscle must be involved somehow, and amount of muscle is related to hormone stuff. I'm have gained more muscle mass, but fat is still around 9%. One thing for certain, migraines were KNOCK OUT terrible for me, and imitrex was my first solution after years of being migraine grounded for a few days per month.
